NEW BOARD MEMBERS SERVE MASLA

 

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, September 22, 2008---The Minnesota Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (MASLA) is pleased to announce its Executive Committee members for 2008-2009.

 

Executive Committee positions are typically two-year elected terms that provide volunteer leadership and organization of activities and events for MASLA membership. 

 

Trustee: Mike McGarvey, ASLA

President: Gina Bonsignore, ASLA

President Elect:  Richard Murphy, ASLA

Past President: Joni Giese, ASLA

Treasurer: Jean Garbarini, ASLA

Secretary: Dana Schumacher, ASLA

Co-Director of Awards + Banquet: Frank Fitzgerald, ASLA

Co-Director of Awards + Banquet: Chris Behringer, ASLA

Director of Public Relations:  Katie Lechelt, ASLA

Director of Communications: Karyn Luger, ASLA

Director of Programs: Ben Sporer, ASLA

Director of Education and Professional Development: Anna Claussen, ASLA

MN Council of Fellows Representative:   Roger Martin, FASLA

 

Over the next year, the committee will strive towards advancing the profession throughout Minnesota as well as advocate for the nomination of Peavey Plaza on Nicollet Mall as a Minneapolis heritage preservation landmark.
